       Let’s face it. Many of us don’t have the time or the opportunity to spend loads of time pursuing a love of birds.  Our lives are crowded with the necessities of survival and the habits of how we live in the current age.  But that doesn’t mean we must abandon our love and appreciation of these beautiful creatures.

            Today I want to thank and recommend you to the unbelievable work of one of my favorite photographers, Adam Jones , who keep me in constant reminder and hunger of experiencing the world of birds.  

I encountered his work on  Webshots.com   and regularly download his photographs for addition to my screen savers.  He has an amazing eye for color and composition.  And he really must love birds . . .

 How do I know he loves birds? Because this kind of photography requires sitting in cold swamp water, or blazing sun, or other really uncomfortable climates until the photographer becomes an unnoticeable piece of the territory. At that point, nature begins to react normally – abandoning it’s own fight or flight syndrome and acting, well, naturally.

            In his photographs, no notice is given to the observer.  He must have waited for hours for that gift. But his reward is nature in its relaxed setting.  It is more beautiful than I can say.
